She wants to help families to be empowered, equipped and connected. She is qualified to evaluate children’s mental and behavioural health and use therapeutic techniques to help children and families. One of the most powerful moments in my work is when someone realises that their fear, self-doubt, or emotional reactions didn’t come from “something being wrong with them” — but from experiences that once made sense in their life.
When we understand where our emotions come from, shame softens and choice becomes possible. Healing often begins with understanding, not fixing.
This way of working — rooted in insight, strengths, and developmental understanding — has become central to my practice and is something I’m increasingly passionate about sharing with others in the therapeutic workspace.
