🔥 Dehydration
Watch for:
• Excessive thirst
• Darker urine & going to the loo less often
• Dizziness, headaches
• Confusion or unusual drowsiness (especially in the elderly)
🔥 Heat Stroke
(medical emergency)
Risk increases with long heat exposure or exercise in hot weather.
Symptoms may include:
• Very high body temperature
• Hot, clammy OR very dry skin
• Confusion, delirium, dizziness
• Headaches
• Fast heart rate & palpitations
• Excessive thirst & reduced urination
👶👵 Higher-risk groups: infants & the elderly
✅ Prevention Tips
• Drink plenty of water
• Keep cool — aircon, fans, cool rooms
• Light clothing (especially for infants & elderly)
• Sponge down with cool water
• Use cold cloths or ice packs if needed
