December 2025 Spiritual Insights

As we wind down and prepare for the new year, it’s natural to reflect on what the past year has meant to us. One thing I particularly noticed about 2025 was the relentlessness of rising anger and hostility surrounding politics and personal beliefs.

This leads me to ask: Why does everyone seem so angry? What makes people become angry in the first place?

To better understand, I want to look at both the astrology and psychology that is causing so much fury.

Astrological Causes of Anger

Astrologically, anger is ruled by Mars. While Mars is in Scorpio from November to December 7, deep emotions are being stirred.

I believe these angers are manipulated and amplified by constant media noise and the nonstop political battles. Reporters incessantly dig for dirt on political rulers.

Worldwide, the public is waking up to the ways the media has manipulated and even brainwashed us over the years.

I can see this astrologically through the Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio, especially with Mercury retrograde.

Additionally, the portion of the Zodiac that the Sun is transiting in November and December pertains to deep, dark emotions, as it is in the sign of Scorpio and Sagittarius, the sign of justice.

Feeling a sense of injustice is one of the root causes of anger. Additionally, the planets transiting through the last part of Scorpio and in the early parts of Sagittarius pertain to jealousy, which can have some deeply negative emotional effects on us.

Psychological Causes of Anger

Psychologically, there are four root causes of anger: perceived threats or loss, injustice, frustration from blocked goals, and violations of personal boundaries. Other contributors include stress, fear, unresolved past damages, and feeling powerless or disrespected.

Anger also arises from resentment — the sense of not having what we want and blaming those who do. These patterns begin in childhood and subconsciously shape our reactions long into adulthood. Sadly, some people take those reactions to dangerous extremes, including violence toward others.

Putting all this together, it becomes clear that people often feel angry when they lack control, especially when they cannot control the things they dislike. That frustration ties back to one of anger’s core foundations: perceived injustice (which also circles back to Sagittarius and astrology.)

One thing I have discovered the hard way throughout my life is that we cannot effectively become a victim when we do not get what we want. We also cannot suppress anger and simply hope it fades.

Suppressed anger only builds and becomes more destructive. When anger lodges in the body, it can eventually manifest as illness. This is why, to heal, we must look closely at our anger and try to understand its roots.

Instead of blaming the world, we must recognise that we have the power to become and achieve anything we desire when we commit to the work. If we want something, we must work for it and change our vibrational frequency to match what it is that we strive for.

Changing Your Frequency

December is a time for change. The new Moon on December 19 is in the sign of Sagittarius, very close to Mars, which will activate healing around the area of injustice. Many things that have appeared unjust will be remedied, especially within our individual lives. Use this valuable time to work on your thinking process and your communication skills.

Every emotion we experience — even the uncomfortable ones — is an opportunity for healing. Our feelings are signposts pointing to what we came here to transform. We are all on a healing journey.

To quote Albert Einstein, “Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

The quote suggests that by aligning your thoughts, behaviours, and energy with your desired outcome, you will inevitably achieve it.

Anything is possible when you let go of the perceived anger you have against the world that you feel you have no control over.

If you change yourself, you will change your world.

This transformational change does not occur overnight, but it absolutely works. Therefore, make 2026 the year of achieving your goals and aspirations by not being a victim and instead doing the work needed to change your vibrational frequency. While there are things you cannot control, you can control what you do, what you think, and what you feel.

Embracing Future Change

Jupiter is the main focal point throughout this month. Towards the end of the month, Mars, Sun, Venus, and Mercury will all be in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter. Saturn is in Pisces, also ruled by Jupiter.

The last few days of the month, Mercury will be in Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter is in Gemini, ruled by Mercury. They are in Parivartana (mutual exchange of signs). This is an incredible time of expansion with technology and communications.

Many people are very worried about the future with AI, particularly as AI will be taking over many people’s jobs and careers in the future. There are also fears that people will become lazy and not continue to grow and learn.

But always, there is the Yin and Yang – positive and negative, dark and light, day and night. We must focus on the positive side of AI and how it can help us, especially in our individual lives.

I am looking forward to seeing the new and exciting developments AI will bring, instead of focusing on the negatives that it can bring.

This wave of AI is unstoppable, and we must learn how to best work with it instead of denying and ignoring it.

The world will change drastically, but we cannot be consumed by the negativity.

In many ways, AI will free us to focus on being creative because AI is not the creative force; humans are.

As many have noted, AI has no soul. It only creates what humans have taught it to create.

Think of AI as a way to help us grow in creativity and elevate our consciousness. We have the spirit and the spark of the Divine. We will control and use AI to force us to be more creative than ever before.

Looking Back and Ahead

As we wrap up this year, it is always beneficial to do a deep dive into analysing what we've learned throughout the past year. Life is always giving us experiences that we learn from.

Get ready to look forward to one of the most spectacular years we have had in our lifetime, the year 2026. This is our golden year, and the transformations that will come this year will change all of us on a spiritual and conscious level.

Our lives will get better because we have learned so much over the past year, which will take us to a new level of understanding and consciousness.

Astro Forecast – December 2025

(This is the FIRST Astro Forecast. Make sure to check out the others.)

THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME
During the first days of the month, relationship matters take centre stage. Venus in Sagittarius and Pluto in Aquarius form a sextile on 2 December and create space for intense togetherness. Ties can gain depth or, through clarifying talks, reach a new honesty. The Full Moon in Gemini on 4/5 December underlines a readiness for open communication. This is a good moment to address even demanding subjects. At the same time, Mars in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries. You can now look at wounds and actively apply yourself to their healing.

On 6 and 7 December, Mercury in Scorpio, Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces constellate a grand trine. Great things can be achieved with ease during these days. Use the time to structure or finish projects. Family matters can also be settled well now. Conflicts you work through now will enable positive long-term developments. In the short term, however, resistance may arise. Mars reaches the square to Saturn on 9 December. Impatience, overconfidence or inflated expectations can cause a lot of friction. Adjust your strategies where needed and accept the limits others set for you.

On 10 and 11 December, Mercury in Scorpio conjoins Lilith, opposes Uranus in Ta**us and trines Neptune, which turns direct on the last degree of Pisces on 10 December. Mercury then moves into Sagittarius. Expect some restlessness, unforeseen events and sudden course changes. The flood of information can confuse and overwhelm. Make sure to draw clear boundaries and examine carefully which thoughts you allow to take root in your mind.

Mars reaches the last degree of Sagittarius on 14 December. Before its transition to Capricorn on 15 December it forms a square to Neptune. This signals moments of disorientation and lack of energy. Give yourself a break. Once Mars enters Capricorn, determination and discipline will return. The square between the Sun and Saturn on 17 December also calls on you to assume responsibility and devote yourself to realistic goals.

The Sagittarius New Moon on 20 December inspires you to search for meaning and inner renewal. However, the days around the solstice on 21 December are tense. The Sun and Venus form squares to Saturn and Neptune, while Jupiter squares Chiron. Unmet expectations and unrealistic ideals can now lead to bitter disappointments. This period invites you to test your dreams and take responsibility for your own happiness.

With the Sun’s entry into Capricorn, the focus shifts to clarity, structured action and concrete implementation. In this emotionally demanding phase, true humility – the willingness to accept your own limitations with dignity – can become a source of creative power and contentment.

Venus enters Capricorn on 24 December, squaring Neptune as she changes signs. A deep longing for redemption and an equally deep desire for stability in relationships can lead to a transcendent experience or tempt you into romantic illusions. Both resonate strongly with Christmas. The chances are good for a festive celebration with a tangible, profound connection to the ancient myth of the birth of the Light on Earth.

The Mercury–Chiron trine on 28 December supports healing dialogue, while Mercury’s square to Saturn on 30 December reminds you to choose your words carefully and take responsibility for what you say.
