World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day aims to raise awareness and understanding about Spina Bifida and advocate for the rights of people living with this condition.

Raghad is 13 years old and lives with Spina Bifida had her surgery six years ago. Her mum helped her catheterise at first, but now Raghad can do it herself. When asked, she advises other children to get the surgery done, and learn to catheterise themselves.
