What are the benefits of foam dressings?

Foam dressings offer several benefits in wound care. They:

1. help manage exudate;
2. maintain a moist wound healing environment;
3. reduce over-/hyper- granulating tissue; and
4. provide a healthy environment for epithelial maturation.
