Keturah Mental Health Awards 2025
(1st South African Edition)

What a deeply humbling and transformative experience it was to witness the Keturah Mental Health Awards, a divine convergence of purpose, vision, and healing.

To see more than 30 organisations, leaders, visionaries from 4 nations and 7 provinces come together under one roof, each carrying a unique mandate yet united in one mission: to restore, heal, and equip humanity is nothing short of the hand of God at work. It was both humbling and inspiring

This was more than an event; it was a prophetic movement reminding us that mental health is a Kingdom assignment, one that requires our obedience, compassion, and collaboration. It’s easy to live passively, to overlook the needs around us, or to think we’re not equipped enough but God is not seeking perfection; He is seeking available and willing vessels.

Every table carried front-liners, men and women who have chosen to rise, stand in the gap, and respond to the call of God for their generation. Each testimony, each initiative, and each partnership reflected the beauty of unity and purpose.

As we continue to build on this foundation, may we keep the fire burning advocating, educating, and bringing light to the spaces where silence once ruled.

Basic Counseling Skills Workshop

What is Basic Counseling Skills?
It’s a comprehensive training program aimed at teaching the foundational skills required for providing emotional support, active listening, and basic counseling techniques, especially in high-pressure, trauma-related situations.

As part of our pro-bono work, Arise and Shine Heirs offers in partnership with South African Red Cross Society invites all first trauma responders to be part of the Basic Counseling Skills training. This training is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed to support and help your community effectively.

This training is free of charge, but registration is required so we can prepare sufficient materials, including manuals.

*In the month of November, all roads lead to Kroonstad* If you would like to attend, please get in touch with the host using the number on the poster as we are closing off registration this week.
