I have one child, Zach, with my spouse Sasha Singh, to whom I have been married for 9 years. I am passionate about climate change and sustainability, and I’m committed to advancing solutions that promote environmental resilience and responsible development. I enjoy spending quality time exploring with Zach, practicing meditation, and engaging in soulful activities that keep me
grounded and centred.

“I am Talitha Oosthuizen, 42 years old, from Johannesburg, Gauteng. I am a passionate entrepreneur and co-owner of three diverse companies, one of them being the Bush Whisper Group. Under this brand, we run Bush Whisper Expeditions, offering bespoke African experiences, and Bush Whisper Apparel, specialising in
handcrafted Shwe Shwe designs that celebrate South African heritage. I am a qualified beauty therapist and hold diplomas in Accounting and Marketing. I’ve been married to my husband, Denys Oosthuizen, for 15 wonderful years. While we don’t have children, we’ve built a life grounded in faith, resilience, and shared values. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, being in nature, and giving back through causes close to my heart—supporting vulnerable children, individuals with disabilities, fighting human trafficking, and contributing to anti-poaching initiatives. I also mentor young women through skills development and work experience.”
