Men can get breast cancer too!

While rare (less than 1% of all cases), male breast cancer is often diagnosed late because it’s not widely recognised.

Key facts:
• Risk factors: Family history, BRCA2 mutation (a change in a gene that can increase a person’s risk of developing breast cancer, even in men) , radiation exposure
• Common symptoms: Painless lumps, ni**le discharge, skin changes
• Treatment: Surgery, radiation, chemotherapy
Early detection saves lives. Men – check yourself and consult a doctor if you notice changes.
