NULANDIS is born out of the merger between Plaaskem, UAP and Qwemico, for years the leaders in innovative product development and crop protection. Now with almost 100 years of collective experience, NULANDIS is the biggest agrochemical solution provider in the country. NULANDIS will continue to meet the everchanging needs of farmers through development, manufacturing, formulation and distribution of specialised agricultural chemical products. We deliver products door to door, through our national agricultural distribution network. In addition, we carry out the extensive research and development backed by technical know-how to deliver the finest quality products available. This in turn gives our new brand the distinct advantage of having access to the right information from factory to farm. And this is where our new ‘brand’ story begins.

On 4 December AECI Plant Health hosted our Chinese partners from the company Natures for a focused training session on Biocult and Alexin, followed by a full walk-through of our production plant. The room carried great energy. Clear questions. Strong engagement. Real curiosity about how these technologies support healthier, more resilient crops.

Seeing Biocult and Alexin discussed right where they are produced added a fresh sense of connection. The tour showed the care behind every batch and created space for deeper collaboration. The group left motivated and ready for the season ahead.

On 31 October, the Langkloof community came together for an inspiring Farmers Day during the annual Bloeiselfees – and AECI Plant Health was proud to be the main sponsor of this important event in partnership with Hoërskool McLachlan.
With the dedicated support of David Meyer, our Crop Advisor in the Langkloof, we partnered with local farmers to celebrate the region’s rich agricultural heritage in pome and stone fruit production. But this day was about more than farming – it was about investing in the future.

At AECI Plant Health, we cultivate expertise and leverage the knowledge of our specialists to the advantage of our customers. We have four Product Portfolio Champions (PPCs), each managing a specific group of agricultural products in our extensive range. 

These PPCs are in a crucial position in the company with their responsibilities comprising inputs on sales, new product development, marketing and training.

AECI Plant Health remains dedicated to developing more effective products that enable growers to unlock nature’s potential in a sustainable manner.

Our 2 ha Research Farm west of Bapsfontein serves as one of the vital links in this process.

The past winter season saw AECI Plant Health complete about 20 agrochemical product registration trials at the facility, with the summer programme including 45 registration trials. 

Many of the trials conducted at our research facility allow for better product knowledge and label extensions and are conducted on are maize, sorghum, soybeans, groundnut, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, spinach, cucurbits and brassicas.

The site has two tunnels where pot trials are conducted. There are also two hydroponic tunnels used to test plant nutrition products. 

The valuable facility has been generating data for more than 20 years. Not only has this investment enabled AECI Plant Health to build on the intellectual property of our in-house products and develop new products but also offer an effective marketing tool, where our crop advisors, technical advisors and others can visit the site to view our research work.
