If the year ahead still feels vague and youāre finding your footing, donāt worry... I am too. š¤£
And if youāre Gen X like me, thereās probably a line from Whatās Up? by Four Non Blondes playing quietly in the background⦠that familiar what the #@% is actually going on? š feeling while you wait for things to settle into place.
Thatās the thing, clarity usually comes after life settles, not before.
So if you want something grounding to work with while youāre finding your rhythm, here are five Nicki-tried-and-tested ways to orient yourself without forcing anything:
š¹ 1. SHRINK THE TIME FRAME
Stop trying to work out the whole year.
Ask instead: What needs my attention this week?
Clarity grows when the mind stops jumping too far ahead.
š¹ 2. CHOOSE ONE DAILY ANCHOR
One consistent thing you do at roughly the same time each day: a walk, a cup of tea in silence, journaling, stretching.
This gives your nervous system a reference point. Focus follows stability.
š¹ 3. WRITE WITHOUT PLANNING
Set a timer for 5 minutes and write whateverās circling your mind, without fixing or organising.
Often what wants to emerge canāt surface until itās allowed to be messy first.
š¹ 4. FOLLOW ENERGY, NOT PRESSURE
Notice what feels slightly easier or more alive.. not exciting, just lighter.
Thatās usually where the next step is, even if it doesnāt look impressive yet.
š¹ 5. DO ONE THING TO COMPLETION
One small task, finished.
Completion brings more clarity than overthinking ever will.
šŗIf you want a deeper reset to clear mental and energetic clutter and reconnect with yourself, my healing sessions are designed for exactly that.
A gentle, powerful way to restore clarity without forcing anything.
šæ You donāt need to rush into direction.
You just need to stay in gentle motion.
The year will meet you as you move.
