Cape Gate Emotional Health Support Group This page is a mental health resource that is free to the public and offers a multifaceted approach to support. We provide psycho-education and resources.

We offer support monthly in the form of in person group meetings as well as via digital platforms.

Our adult support group continues to meet on a bi-weekly basis as previously established, however we will no longer be making use of this channel to promote the support group. We encourage you to reach out to 021 987 0111 if you would like to enquire with regards to the support group.

Every year September 10th marks World Su***de Prevention Day.

The mission of the Cape Gate Emotional Health Support Group and others hosted by Rall and Brown Psychologists is to provide ongoing support to members of the public who themselves may struggle with these impulses or otherwise have a loved one who does.

While the stigma surrounding the conversation of mental health and self harm has improved in recent years there is still a great deal of work to be done in continuing to dismantle this stigma and provide support to those who face these impulses on a day to day basis.

If you or someone you know may benefit from support and community in this area please consider joining our support group or finding personal support with a mental health professional.

Each of us must in the end face our own battles but we do not have to face them alone.
