Funeral Policy Administrator β Pretoria
Bacarac Group Schemes, a well-established intermediary in the funeral insurance industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing policy administration, financial reconciliations, and member interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Administration: Ensure accurate processing, updating, and maintenance of insurance policies.
Daily Reconciliation of Policy Premiums: Oversee the accurate recording and reconciliation of premiums collected, ensuring financial records are up to date.
Member Interaction: Provide professional assistance and support to policyholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Back-Office Support: Assist remote offices with administrative functions, ensuring streamlined operations and communication.
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Strong ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data.
Bookkeeping Knowledge: Understanding of financial transactions, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the funeral insurance sector is advantageous.
Language & Communication Skills:
Afrikaans: The primary language of communication within the office.
English: Strong written and verbal proficiency required.
African Languages: Verbal proficiency of one of our African languages will be an advantage to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
