๐ Sports Day Memories We Will Treasure ๐
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Sports Day last Wednesday. It truly was a beautiful day, filled with laughter, excitement, encouragement, and so many special moments that reminded us why days like these matter so much. ๐ ๐
A heartfelt thank you to our visiting schools Sinethemba, De Heide, and Umti for sharing the day with us. Your energy, kindness, and support added so much joy and made our learners feel celebrated and included.
To everyone who generously donated medals and prizes, thank you for helping make our learners feel proud and accomplished. The smiles on their faces as they received their certificates and medals were priceless and made the day extra meaningful. ๐
A very special thank you to Frank, our photographer, for once again capturing the magic of the day so beautifully. There were so many incredible photos that choosing which ones to share was no easy task, each one tells its own special story. ๐ธโจ
Please note that photos will be uploaded to our Facebook album throughout the course of the day, so keep an eye out as we continue to share these wonderful moments.
And to our amazing parents, events like this simply would not be possible without your encouragement, involvement, and constant support. You are such an important part of our Friends Day Centre family.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so memorable and special. These are the moments our learners will carry with them, and so will we. ๐

The Centre has dedicated therapists for the development and various therapies to meet the specific needs of our learners. FDC provides for the needs of learners from numerous communities who present with various disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Epilepsy plus other less common conditions.
Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of our learners by providing them with the best therapy suited to their individual needs. In doing so, we strive to assist them to reach their best state of being and unlocking their full potential in terms of physical and mental health. We have seen some remarkable improvements in many of our learners who have benefited from the care and therapy provided.
In 2017 our Arts and Craft centre was introduced, giving learners the ability to express their talents through painting and creativity.
