We often warn against high blood pressure, but low blood pressure can be just as concerning.

Low blood pressure (hypotension) is a reading below 90/60 mm Hg that can cause symptoms like dizziness, fainting, and fatigue, though many people have no symptoms.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 include dehydration, blood loss, standing for long periods, and certain medications, while more severe cases can lead to shock if organs don't get enough oxygen.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

Anyone experiencing symptoms of low blood pressure should see a doctor to determine the cause.

Seek immediate medical help if your blood pressure drops suddenly, especially if you feel faint or confused.

Low blood pressure can be a medical emergency if it leads to shock, which can damage organs. Symptoms of shock include cold, clammy skin, rapid breathing, and a weak pulse.

We offer Stress ECG testing
A stress ECG is a test that records the heart's electrical signals (an ECG) while a patient is under stress, typically from physical exercise.

Why it's done:
🧡 To check for coronary artery disease: It determines if the heart muscle is getting enough oxygen-rich blood during exercise by looking for changes in the ECG when arteries are narrowed.
🧡 To diagnose heart problems: It helps identify symptoms like chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, or shortness of breath that may be caused by heart issues.
🧡 To assess functional capacity: It shows how well the heart functions under stress.
