Friends… I’m asking you to please take a moment and really read this. 💔
This is Christi van Pletzen, just 14 years old. What you’re seeing in these photos is not just “bad posture” — it is severe scoliosis. Her young spine is dangerously curved, twisting her tiny body in ways it was never meant to.
Every day she lives with pain.
Every day her body fights against her.
And without urgent spinal surgery, it will only get worse.
Christi should be worrying about school, friends, and being a teenager — not about chronic pain, restricted breathing, constant constipation, flu like symptoms and what her future will look like. But right now, her reality is hospital and chiropractor visits, discomfort, and uncertainty.
Her surgery can correct the curve, stabilize her spine, and give her a real chance at a pain-free, healthy life. A chance to stand tall. A chance to breathe easier. A chance to just be 14.
We cannot do this alone.
