Mental health & limb loss
Limb loss isn’t just physical.𝑰𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉.
Shock, sadness, anger, even guilt – all of these reactions are normal.
Reaching out for psychological support, peer support or a support group is a sign of strength, not weakness.
