Our founder is an adult male living with a permanent disability, which is a result of a serious motorcycle accident in 2001. Among other injuries, he suffered a traumatic lower leg amputation. The unfortunate result of his injuries has been chronic pain and discomfort, as well as neuropathy (neuropathy – noun - disease or dysfunction of one or more peripheral nerves, typically causing
numbness or weakness.) in the form of phantom pain (phantom limb pain - noun, Pathology - a phenomenon characterized by the experience of pain, discomfort, or other sensation in the area of a missing limb or other body part, as a breast.) For pain management, doctors have most often prescribed Tramacet or Temgesic (both opioids), which has serious and dire side effects. Research has led him to treat his conditions with cannabis, given the minimal adverse effects, with great success. He started growing his own cannabis plants in order to find the right strain for his personal treatment. Growing became a passion and joy which led to him wanting to help everyone to find their perfect fit and the treatment they deserve!
