SAPRIN recently hosted a successful Grade 9 Subject Choice and Career Guidance Programme at 🎓 Edward Phathudi High School!

The session aimed to help learners make informed educational and career decisions, with engaging presentations from our team and guest speakers — including a lawyer and an environmental management graduate.

Learners participated actively, asking thoughtful questions about their futures. Teachers expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative, noting its importance, especially for learners who may not have career guidance support at home.

We’re excited to continue this partnership and look forward to hosting more sessions next year. Empowering our youth to dream big and plan for success! 🌟

On 31 October, SAPRIN joined the vibrant health campaign at Mbolekwa Sports Ground in Atteridgeville, a day dedicated to tackling key community health challenges. 💪
The event focused on raising awareness and providing support around HIV/AIDS, TB, NCDs, STIs, GBV, and substance abuse.
We were inspired to see so many organisations and stakeholders come together to showcase the vital health services available to our community. ❤️
Those who got tested and needed immediate care received on-the-spot treatment, ensuring no one was left without support, a true example of proactive healthcare in action! 🩺
Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger Atteridgeville. Let’s keep prioritising our health, getting regular check-ups, and supporting one another every step of the way. 🌍💚

They were keen to learn more about the impact of the research and how it could benefit them in the long run.

The Melusi team celebrated Mandela Day at Melusi 3 Sports Ground. The event was a meaningful occasion, bringing together our fieldworkers and community members for a collaborative and enriching experience. To foster dialogue and strengthen community ties, we invited residents to join us for lunch, creating a warm and informal atmosphere for conversations. This setting allowed many community members to engage directly with our fieldworkers, leading to productive discussions about various local issues and concerns. Feeding over 100 individuals
