Holidays can feel hard for little ones. And for you too.

The festive season often brings overstimulation, disrupted routines and lots of emotions. It is easy to forget that the grown-ups feel it too.

So here are some gentle tips for both you and your child to help you move through this season with a little more ease:

Keep wake-up and bedtimes as consistent as possible

Set simple expectations and talk about the day ahead

Offer small choices to help your child feel in control

Make time for slow moments for you and for them

Breathe. Pause. You are allowed to feel overwhelmed too
