Every baby and mom pair is different, and finding the right position can make all the difference.

Experiment with these holds, focus on a deep, comfortable latch, and don't hesitate to contact our lactation support team for guidance.

A good latch = a deep and comfortable latch , better milk flow, and a happier feeding experience for both of you.💙

Throwback to when we proudly supported the incredible team at Netcare Bay Hospital for their vital blood drive. We believe in the power of community!

To say thank you to our local heroes, we had fresh popcorn and special goodie bags for everyone who rolls up their sleeve. 🍿

Why donate? It’s a selfless act that makes a massive impact. Just one donation can save up to three lives. 🦸‍♀️

Our latest class was all about the "KFC" of parenting: Kickstarting growth, navigating Fragile first steps, and satisfying that Craving for curiosity.

It was wonderful to see so many dads involved in the journey! 💙 A huge thank you to our guest dietitian for guiding us through the transition to solids and answering all your questions about Baby Led Weaning.

We also dove into some sensory play. While it can get messy, sensory exploration is vital for cognitive growth and fine motor skills. We love guiding you through these early milestones!😄

Every feeding journey is unique.

While breastfeeding is always encouraged and supported, some mothers may face challenges and need substitute feeding - and that’s okay! What matters most is that your baby is fed, growing, and cared for.

If formula is needed, choosing it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming - a healthcare professional or lactation consultant can help guide you. ❤️

We had a fantastic voyage exploring the sea and sand! Our latest sensory play class dove deep into exploration where babies got hands-on with colors, textures, smells, and even tastes (for our 6 months+ babies!).

Sensory play is crucial for early childhood development, helping build cognitive and fine motor skills. Watching these little ones learn through texture exploration and color sorting is pure magic!

Living with HIV doesn’t define a mother’s ability to nurture, love, and raise thriving children.

With consistent ARV treatment, care, and emotional support, many moms living with HIV are raising healthy, HIV-negative children - proof that love, knowledge, and treatment work hand-in-hand.

Every pill taken, every clinic visit, every act of self-care is an act of love for herself and her family.🧡

Our lovely Momma and Dadda's-to-be in our recent Birth 101 class!💛

We spoke about oxytocin (often called the love hormone). It’s your body’s natural way of creating connection, calm, and confidence.

Here’s where oxytocin works its magic:

💕 Intimacy:
It helps deepen emotional connection and strengthens bonds between partners.

💕 Childbirth:
It supports contractions and plays a key role in helping labour progress smoothly.

💕 Postpartum:
Oxytocin helps parents bond with their baby - one of the many reasons skin-to-skin is so important.

💕 Breastfeeding:
It triggers the let-down reflex and nurtures closeness between mother and baby.

Your body is beautifully designed to support you through birth and beyond - and understanding these hormones can make the journey feel a little less overwhelming x

Cerebral Palsy (CP) affects movement, posture, and muscle tone, and is often diagnosed in infancy or early childhood.

Here's why awareness matters:

• Spotting early signs helps families access therapy and support sooner
• Early intervention can improve mobility, independence, and confidence
• Understanding CP helps us create inclusive spaces for all children

This Disability Awareness Month, let’s celebrate every child’s potential and remember that awareness, early detection, and love are the first steps toward helping them thrive.💛
