In my 50s I realised I’d become ‘invisible’ - and if you’re middle-aged or more you’ll know exactly what I mean - so, I saw a stylist, got my colours done and dyed my hair bright red. With a new-found confidence I developed my own individual look and found that strangers started stopping me in the street to tell me they ‘liked my style!’ So I am now on a mission: to dress stylishly for the rest of my life and share everything with you in regular blogs. In my 40s, my mum unexpectedly died of a massive heart attack. From working long, unhealthy hours in TV, I became a well-respected nutritionist and wrote three books; trying, testing and researching as much as I could about exercise, spiritual practises and diet. When it comes to being fit, I know that if I don't move it, I lose it (both mentally and physically). So on this blog I'll share all there is to know about the latest fitness fads and introduce you to inspiring older fitties I meet along the way.
