At our Potchefstroom Centre, the men recently spent time working together outdoors around the swimming pool area, strengthening teamwork and responsibility as part of daily structure.

At the same time, the women continued their group therapy sessions outside, creating space for reflection and meaningful conversation.

Recovery is shaped in many ways, through responsibility, through connection, and through consistent, guided support. Healing grows when structure and community work side by side.

This week at our Potchefstroom Centre, our clinical team continued their ongoing Schema Therapy work as part of our integrated recovery programme.

Schema therapy helps individuals identify long-standing patterns of thinking and behaviour - often formed early in life - that can influence addiction, relationships, and emotional responses. By recognising and reshaping these patterns, deeper and more sustainable healing becomes possible.

We were also grateful for a brief visit from our ambassador Hykie Berg Public Page, who stopped by to greet the team and show his support for the important work being done. We appreciate his continued encouragement of our mission.
