How Earth’s Dew was born:
My passion and love for healthy living started years ago when I emigrated from South Africa to begin a new life with my girls in beautiful New Zealand. Through the years I unfortunately developed chronic pain. I consulted many doctors and specialists over the years but none of them had an answer to my condition and everything they tried to do, to help me, failed.
I was devastated and felt so disillusioned and let down by modern medicine and just knew that something had to be done to ease my pain. Out of sheer desperation, I decided to find my own solutions through many months of research and study into Nature's own cures. I learned so much about natural ingredients and how wonderfully soothing and healing they can be if combined correctly. I began by making certain changes to my diet and also began to eliminate “toxic” household products, replacing them with natural products.
Being a mother with my chronic pain was extremely difficult but the research and knowledge discovery journey I went through enabled me to get my chronic pain under control and life became manageable and even enjoyable once again. Although I had my health under control, I was still faced with one frustration that I could not solve.
I had cupboards full of multiple creams, ointments and lotions for every skin condition and problem my girls went through as they grow up, not to mention the things we as adults deal with as well. I had products for conditions like nappy rash, scrapes, burns, insect bites, sun burn, eczema, cold sores, fungal infections, just to name a few. I began to wonder how many other mothers and families were facing the same challenges I faced with no modern solutions for them and their kids and how frustrated they must be feeling too? Not only was it financially draining but most of the products that did work to some degree had so many side effects and chemicals in them that I did not want to continue using them on myself or my children.
This was the beginning of my journey which led me to the creation of Earth’s Dew Ltd.
I took all the findings of my research regarding the absolute best natural ingredients that assist in healing skin conditions and began to combine selected ingredients for different conditions. I then reached out to an amazing company to formulate a product that could be used for most skin conditions and for the whole family.
After receiving my samples, I asked volunteers, friends and family with a variety of skin conditions, to test the product. The results blew us away!! Not only did I treat my own cold sore in 4 days but more importantly, in 2 days my youngest daughter’s eczema was all clear. One of the female volunteers had a rash at the back of her hair line tested it and that too cleared up in twee weeks. The best feeling was when I helped a whole family get their skin conditions under control. It felt amazing.
These initial tests proved successful with so many people from different backgrounds, genders and ages. I was absolutely astounded at how well one specially formulated cream could do so much, so quickly, for so many different skin conditions. At that moment I knew this would be life changing for us as a family and for so many other people too.
The next part of my journey with Earth's Dew will be to complete the Skin Rescue product line and I am so excited to start that journey and share the results with all of you. It's my personal mission to develop a product line that is 100% natural and safe to use for the whole family.
