We’re Hiring: Dental Assistant at Intercare Walmer Medical and Dental Centre

Ready to lead and make an impact in dental healthcare? Join Intercare as a Dental Assistant and help us deliver exceptional patient experiences while ensuring smooth operations.

What you’ll do:
✔ Oversee daily dental department operations and patient flow
✔ Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage
✔ Handle procurement and stock control of dental consumables and equipment
✔ Ensure accurate billing, quotations, and resolve account queries
✔ Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
✔ Provide leadership, training, and uphold company policies
✔ Deliver exceptional customer service and professional communication
✔ Support facility operations, including opening/closing and emergency duties

What we’re looking for:
✔ Minimum qualification: Grade 12
✔ Previous people management experience
✔ Computer proficiency

Intercare is a healthcare group that operates Medical & Dental Centres, Walk-in Care, Day Hospitals, Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Hospitals. We currently have 20 Medical Centres staffed with doctors and nurses, 14 Dental Centres staffed with dentists and oral hygienists, 4 Day Hospitals and 3 Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Hospitals. Our Centres and Hospitals are located across South Africa in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng.

Most of our Medical and Dental Centres are conveniently located next to or close to a pharmacy. We offer a wide range medical services under one roof with Doctors, Dentists, X Rays, Blood Tests, Physiotherpy and Dietitians only some of the services available at our Medical Centres.
