Extension of working days due to the community’s need.
We have decided to extend our working days to Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 14:30hrs. An answer to the community’s request

What a successful mothers cooking day we had today ☺️
We where taught the attachment process ( between mother and baby) also breastfeeding positions for mothers with twins and mothers with just one child
October being the breast cancer awareness month we where taught more about breast cancer and how we can detect it early through breast lamps and other measures 😍😍
Today we where also taught on the minerals and how they work in the body of a child
It was really a wonderful and educative day today

We learned how to make sweet potato Custard and cassava leaves added with dry buga fish

Attendance: We had a total of 30 mothers and 64 children

Today was another opportunity for us to make HIM KNOWN and serve HIM through Mango Tree outreach for the children.

This is why we exist as a clinic.

Our mother’s cooking day today was lovely and educational.

We learned the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, the dangers of not breastfeeding a child well, and complications which may come from not breastfeeding a child well.

We also learned on the developmental milestones of a child ☺️

Mamas were cooking millet porridge mixed with moringa and fish/kapenta mixed with green veggies with nshima.

What was so special and good is that Mr Chisense our security personnel shared the word of God to the mamas.

We feed the soul as well as the body.

Today was another big opportunity given to us by our God to serve Him through our Mango Tree outreach. We had funs games, shared the gospel and we did scripture memorization to make His name known!!!

We are now back to our normal monthly routine.
Today we had our mothers cooking day where sister Mwati taught on how to feed a sick child and the importance of under five clinic and knowing which vaccines they give children and what they are for as a mother
We went on to learn how to cook inkoko yaku sashila( Chicken mixed with groundnut powder and Nshima and egg porridge and their nutritional value

We had 21 mothers and 26 children in total
