ANTIBIOTICS RESISTANCE IS VERY SERIOUS!!

Musonda has cold & flu >>>>>>>ANTIBIOTICS

After 5 months, Musonda falls sick due to infection. Musonda is given ANTIBIOTICS for the infection but unfortunately, Musonda is not getting better. Musonda is referred to the hospital were laboratory tests confirms that the type of Bacteria Musonda is having is RESISTANT to many of the Antibiotics even strong ones.

Resistant! Resistant! Resistant!

Dear Patient, antibiotic resistance is real. Use antibiotics only when clearly needed and ensure you complete the recommended dose. Also, avoid skipping doses!

A wise person learns from the experiences of others. Don't be like Musonda, be wise. Talk to your for proper guidance.

Codeine is an op**te and prodrug of morphine used to treat pain, coughing, and diarrhea.

Why Is Codein abused?
Codein is usually prescribed in combination with other drugs for the management of Cough, pain and Diarrhea.

While not everyone who is prescribed codeine for pain management, treatment of diarrhea, or as an antitussive becomes addicted to codeine, there are a subset of individuals who become dependent upon the euphoric-like effects of this drug. They may begin to use codeine to numb emotional pain, handle chronic stress, take it for it’s euphoric like effects deliberately, or medicate away the symptoms of a mental illness. This can lead very quickly to addiction and abuse of more potent op**tes.

Dangers?
Codeine addiction is a serious problem as it can impact every facet of an individual’s life. They may be unable to properly perform at work or in school, they may find themselves preoccupied with obtaining more codeine and recovering from the effects as their interpersonal relationships crumble around them. Soon, they may be socially isolated, terrified of the withdrawal symptoms of quitting the narcotic, and terrified that they’ll hurt themselves if they continue abusing codeine. It’s this vicious cycle that can prevent an individual from seeking the treatment they so desperately need.

Treatment.?
Seek medical advice by visiting the Hospital. Treatment is free and very possible.

There is need to put serious measures on the sale of Codein containing products.

Koflyn Syrup contains Piriton, an antihistamine, and Coldril contains Piriton which when taken together can cause serious side effects.

Ringworm of the body (tinea corporis) is a rash caused by a fungal infection. It's usually an itchy, circular rash with clearer skin in the middle. Ringworm gets its name because of its appearance. No worm is involved.

How is it Spread?
While it's most commonly spread from skin-to-skin contact, you can also catch it from touching something that someone with ringworm touched.

Anyone can get a ring works, but those who are immunocompromised are at high risk.

Always Visit Your Hospital when You see such Lesions or Rushes.
