🚨 💊 Doxycycline others call it a green pill. 💊

Things you need to know when taking this drug:-

If you are taking Doxycycline (Doxyl) one of the things you should avoid is lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking it, This also means that you are not suppose to take doxycycline when its bed time 🛏️.

Reason:
Doxyl is considered to be an acidic and when mixed with water it has a low PH(acidic nature).

You should always take doxyl in an upright position, You can be sitting or standing. This will stops the medicine from irritating your food pipe or stomach
Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking doxycycline.

If you taking it twice a day, this should be first thing in the morning, and in the evening before you go to bed.



Food affects the absorption of Doxyl Swallow your doxycycline whole with at least 150ml of water. Not swallowing them with enough water may increase the chances of causing swelling and irritation in your throat (oesophagitis).

Whats difference between PrEP and PEP?

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a daily pill taken before potential exposure to HIV. It’s great for people at high risk of infection for instances if your partner is HIV positive and you don't always use protection.

PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is an emergency medication taken after possible exposure to HIV. It must be started within 72 hours of the event and taken for 28 days.
