December 1-World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day gives the opportunity to fight against HIV. People who have been affected by HIV feel motivated and dare to fight against the fatal disease.
Here are some quotes to give courage and togetherness in the face of this global epidemic.

βœ“"Never, never, never give up." -Winston Churchill
βœ“"I believe in communities." -Winnie Byanyima
βœ“"lt is never too late to give up on our predudices." -Henry David Thoreau
βœ“"It is bad enough that people are dying of AIDS, but no one should die of ignorance." -Elizabeth Taylor
βœ“"The most important thing in illness is to never lose heart." -Nicolai Lenin
βœ“"Dare to reach out your hand into the darkness, to pull another hand into the light." -Norman B. Rice

WORLD TOILET DAY
Theme- "Leave No One Behind"

World Toilet Day is celebrated on 19th November every year. It's all about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Developemet Goal _6(SDG 6) which promises sanitation for all by 2030.

World Toilet Day 2019 is drawing attention to those people being left behind without sanitation.

Toilets are important because access to a safe functioning toilet has a positive impact on public health, human dignity and personal safety especially for women. Sanitation systems that do not safely treat excreta allow the spread of disease. Serious soil-treated and water-borne diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, typhoid, dysentery and schistosomiasis can result.

International day are occasions to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity. The existence of International days predates the establishment of the United Nations, but the U N has embraced them as a powerful advocacy tool.
Share your toilet safety challenge or your toilet safety challenge success, get involved.
