📄 INVITATION FOR SUBMISSIONS ON COMMENTS OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS OF THE CONSTITUTION OF ZAMBIA

Dear Stakeholders,

The Chongwe Municipal Council wishes to inform all stakeholders and members of the general public that consultations on the proposed Constitution (Amendment) of 2025 are currently underway.

In line with the principles of inclusiveness and transparency, you are hereby invited to submit your comments , observations, and recommendations on the proposed amendments.

Stakeholders are encouraged to:

-Submit comments online via the following email addresses:
info@constitution.gov.zm, submissions@constitution.gov.zm, enquiry@constitution.gov.zm, and committee@constitution.gov.zm

-Or Deliver written submissions physically at the Chongwe Municipal Council Civic Centre, in the Council Chamber

The consultation window will remain open from today, 10th November, to Wednesday, 13th November 2025.

Please be informed that a virtual sitting will be held on Thursday, 14th November 2025, in the council chamber at the civic center for Chongwe

Kindly note that submissions are open from 08:30 hours to 17:00 hours.

Your participation is vital in ensuring that the constitutional amendment process reflects the collective will and aspirations of all citizens.
