•listen to my voice
• ladies and gentlemen ooooh yes!! listen to my cry

• I am a girl child on a mission
• but too bad no one can see my great vision

• you force me into a sorrowful early marriage
• when other children are going to school of my age

• I will not stop until you listen to my voice
• the voice crying out for the voiceless
• because as a girl child I am seen to be less
• when I can be a best nurse

• oops listen to my voice
• the voice of a girl born with a great destination
• with a mind filled up with a best innovation
• and a great leader for the next generation.

This poem is written on behalf of children who are victims of early marriage, who need to be taken to school and make them future leaders. Children especially girls are not properties but they are future potential leaders who when supported will build a great nation.
