HALL FAIR TRANSFORMATION BEGINS: A NEW DAWN FOR TWAPIA YOUTH

Today, 11th December 2025, marks a major milestone for Twapia Ward. Following the earlier groundwork by Councillor Henry Kabwebwe and the WDC, a formal proposal was submitted to upgrade Hall Fair—popularly known as Olofeya—into a modern Skills Development Centre using CDF. This bold vision aims to empower the community and equip youths with practical skills for real opportunities. Today, a team of engineers and architects conducted a detailed site visit, signaling the beginning of real progress. Twapia is on the rise, and this project stands as a beacon of hope, empowerment, and lasting development.

NDOLA CENTRAL RISES AGAIN: HON. TAYALI AND PRESIDENT HICHILEMA DELIVER LONG-AWAITED ROAD DEVELOPMENT

After decades of neglect and broken promises, the people of Ndola Central Constituency are finally witnessing true development—promises made, and promises delivered. Honorable Museba Frank Tayali, Member of Parliament for Ndola Central, together with President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND government, have demonstrated exceptional commitment by delivering long-awaited road infrastructure that residents have been yearning for.

One of the biggest milestones is the completion of Minsundu (Lowenthal) Road, now fully done except for the drainage system and streetlights which are already planned for completion. After 30 years of abandonment, seeing this road upgraded is not just a development project—it is a restored promise, a renewed hope, and a sign that Ndola Central is finally receiving the attention it deserves.

More road projects are either completed or progressing steadily across the constituency, including:

1. Lowenthal (Minsundu) –

2. Petauke –

3. Kabelenga –

4. Maina Soko-

5. Chela-

6. Feira-

7. Kwacha Road-

8. President Avenue-

9. Twapia Road-

10. Dola Hill Rd-

11. CBU Road-

12. Protea to Dola Hill-

13. Bupingulo Avenue-

These developments show clear evidence of leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. Even at times when frustrations grew and hope seemed almost lost, Hon. Hon Frank Museba Tayali - Ndola Central Constituency MP and his team continued lobbying tirelessly, knocking on every door, engaging every authority, and ensuring Ndola’s voice reached the central government.

Today, Ndola Central is rising again—cleaner, safer, more connected, and more promising than before. The partnership between Hon. Tayali and President Hichilema is transforming the constituency into a model of progress and accountability.

This is more than road construction. It is the fulfilment of a commitment to the people. It is leadership that walks the talk.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a cherished member of our Twapia community, Ba Given Chola. Ba Given was a mother figure to us all, playing a vital role in ensuring our community benefitted from social cash transfer funds. Her selfless dedication to aiding the elderly in their time of need touched the lives of many. Ba Given's absence will be deeply felt, and her impact on Twapia will never be forgotten. The community mourns the loss of a true hero. Rest in peace, Ba Given Chola.
