What is the best fertilizer for sweet potato in there early growing stages?

We highly recommend DAP for Basal dressing. Why? Because DAP has Nitrogen and Phosphorus so simply saying it's basically just NP. For every 50kg you buy, the only important part is 32kg.

Because each 50kg bag of DAP gives you 9kg of Nitrogen and 23kg of P²O⁡

Have you subscribed for training? If not, why wait? It's only K150

POST-HARVEST LOSSES ARE SILENT PROFIT KILLERS β€” HANDLE YOUR SWEET POTATOES LIKE A BUSINESS.

You can grow the best crop in the district… but lose 20–40% of its value between the field and the buyer simply because of poor handling and packaging.
Most farmers still pack fresh sweet potatoes into tight sacks.

Those sacks trap heat and moisture, bruise the roots, and accelerate rotting and mould growth before the crop even reaches market.

If you are serious about making money from sweet potato, change how you move it.

βœ… What Smart Farmers Are Doing Instead:

1️⃣ Use ventilated plastic crates (like banana transport crates)
– Allow air circulation
– Prevent overheating
– Reduce bruising
– Stack safely during transport

2️⃣ Use wooden baskets (like mushroom baskets)
– Strong and breathable
– Protect roots from compression
– Extend shelf life

🌱 Why This Matters:
βœ”οΈ Longer shelf life
βœ”οΈ Better appearance = higher prices
βœ”οΈ Less weight loss
βœ”οΈ Reduced rejection by supermarkets and aggregators
βœ”οΈ Professional presentation to buyers
Post-harvest handling is not an afterthought β€” it is part of production.
What happens after harvest can determine whether or not you make money.

Watch and learn... Don't forget to share 😊
