As we are rounding up for the year, we cherish the wonderful moments we experienced. We have learnt a lot, but what is outstanding is that climate change is real, and we need to collaborate in order to win the fight. Everyone including farmers, innovators, organisations, policy makers have a part to play. We have also been partnering with organisations with the same vision with us, in Gutu, Masvingo we are collaborating with FACT Zimbabwe to support groups of farmers to improve food security and livelihoods by the adoption of climate smart farming.

The rainy season is upon us, it will bring the much needed relief following the dry season from the El-Nino induced drought. As the climate change impacts become a reality each day, one of the take aways is that water is precious, every drop counts. Many farmers will confirm that water sources have since dried up, shattering the hopes of many to generate income throughout the year through production using irrigation. But we will not wait to go through the cycle again, we will prepare for the next dry season. Whilst the rains are here, let's harvest the water to extend the availability and access to water. Water harvesting comes in many forms from the simple ponds and containers to the more sophisticated systems.Harvesting run off water on the ground can also help with soil and crop disturbance. Let's explore together on how we can do this. Our irrigation pumps will work well with these storage systems to move the water to the fields
