Packed with protein and omega-3, 6 and 9, Hestia Organics Hemp Hearts are one of Mother Nature’s power foods. Hemp Hearts have the outer hull of the seed removed to reveal the soft, nutty centre. Hestia Organic Farm began growing these little lentils in 2006. They are rich in fibre, protein, potassium and other micronutrients including selenium, an essential micronutrient that many people are deficient in. Beluga Lentils
A similar size to our Small Red Lentils, Beluga lentils are shiny and black and work well in soups and stews. They yield the same great health benefits of all lentils with fibre and protein and are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Whole or Milled Flaxseed
Flaxseed is another great source of omega-3 fatty acids. Whole flaxseed can be added to baking to increase fibre, nutrition and flavour. A few tablespoons of ground flaxseed per day on your cereal or in juice is the easiest and most nutritious way to keep your body on a schedule.
