I am currently enrolled in the AJC Coaching Career School led by Ankush K Jain. One of the first assignments for each coach is to write a bio where we honestly describe who we are and what we are creating in the world. Being authentic is something that might feel very uncomfortable in the beginning. For a lot of people, it's not easy to speak positively and at a deep core level about ourselves. I believe that being authentic (meaning genuine, true and real] is a pathway to greater love.
I look forward to continuing to share thoughts, resources, and uplifting messages on my page, with the believe that it will benefit all those who wish to stay in my orbit. Thank you, I love you.
Who Am I?
I am a brave girl from Czechoslovakia. At age 10, I placed a world map above my bed and dared to dream the impossible: that one day I would cross the borders of my communist country and discover the world beyond the Iron Curtain. Little did I know that it would be my tremendous physical strength, athleticism, determination, and zest for life—qualities I was known for from as early as I can remember—that would open the door to a university education. This was nearly impossible, given that my parents were not members of the Communist Party. But even more remarkable than crossing borders was that studying at university would allow me to say goodbye to my small hometown, with its limited resources, and live in Brno, the second largest city in Czechoslovakia.
My pursuit of physical strength, capability, and competitiveness led me to explore how to bring the body and mind into harmony, which eventually led me to yoga. Along the way, I also had a deeply personal spiritual experience that solidified my belief in a Higher Power, which I call God.
As a young adult, bold and fearless, I was blessed to meet extraordinary teachers and mentors. In Brno, I met Otakar Vojkuvka, whom many who knew him referred to as the "Czechoslovakian Ultimate Coach." Otakar was pivotal in my early twenties, helping me realize that I was capable of taking on a mission far greater than I could have dreamed. He taught me how to speak powerfully with love and pure intent. Inspired by his mentorship, I began establishing yoga classes in major cities across my homeland. But it soon became clear that my life mission was bigger still: I was called to spread spiritual freedom, not just within the borders of Czechoslovakia but beyond the Iron Curtain.
Through yoga, I sowed hope for healthier living—both in body and mind—among my fellow citizens. I even started a newsletter called The Art of Living, which inspired thousands of Czech teachers to foster positivity and bring out the best in the younger generation.
I experienced God's love profoundly during my first year at university. This was a life-altering experience, one that awakened me to my true identity as a divine and eternal child of God. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and went on to bring over 50 Czech friends to the waters of baptism. I also taught thousands of people how to live healthier lives through the practice of yoga.
As communism neared its end in Czechoslovakia, a life-changing opportunity arose—a divine intervention. I was invited to the United States to teach Czech at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, a hub for future LDS missionaries preparing to bring hope and faith to people worldwide. Suddenly, I was transplanted to the United States of America. To say this was a miracle is a brief summary of a story filled with unexpected turns, divine timing, and the kind of courage that only comes from trusting in the unseen.
During this time of single life, I met Randy, a young musician with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He came across an interview I had done in a magazine and thought I was too cute and interesting not to reach out. A long-distance romance blossomed between Baltimore and Provo, and within six months, we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 6th, Saint Nicholas Day.
While teaching at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., I felt a strong pull to focus more on yoga than teaching Czech. I was also encouraged to write my autobiography, sharing my life under communism in Czechoslovakia. The book, titled Saint Behind Enemy Lines, was published by Deseret Book and is now available on Amazon and Audible. Since its publication, I've had the privilege of sharing my journey to personal and spiritual freedom across many platforms in the U.S. When people started calling me a "hero," it was hard for me to fully grasp the bravery they saw, though it became clear as I shared my story of creating possibilities for freedom despite the harsh reality of communist rule.
At one point, I felt a strong inner calling to build my own business—a right that had been stripped from my parents and grandparents. I founded Yoga with Olga, a studio where I worked with people one-on-one to relieve stress, anxiety, and chronic back pain. Starting my own business was not only a financial step forward but also a profound journey of personal and spiritual growth. For me, building a business meant sharpening my mindset while expanding my spiritual awareness.
When the pandemic hit, it turned out to be the best year for my business. I learned to harness the power of my mind, turning what seemed like an impossible situation into an opportunity to "hit a home run." And I did. My business transformed from local to global.
However, the most pivotal moment for both my business and personal growth came when I felt called to help people overcome the mental toll of the pandemic. In 2021, I received a clear inner call to expand my tools for serving others, moving beyond just physical well-being through yoga.
My Current Mission as a Life Coach: My calling is to guide people toward true freedom by empowering them to reclaim control over their minds. The pandemic has shown me how urgently this work is needed, as many have become trapped in mental struggles, believing they are their thoughts. By teaching individuals how to use their minds as a tool, rather than being used by it, I help free them from destructive patterns and guide them toward mental clarity and resilience. My goal is to help people transcend their mental limitations and find lasting peace.
I am transformation coach and founder of LYTA (“Launch Your Third Act”). I help men and women eliminate physical fatigue, anxiety, and emotional emptiness, guiding them to reinvent themselves and uncover the full purpose of life during this exciting stage. With a Ph.D. in Education, I bring a blend of academic knowledge and practical wellness experience to my work. As an experienced yoga therapist (E-RYT 500+) and Life Force Yoga * Practitioner, I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety and depression. My mission is to empower men and women to create enduring legacies that span beyond three generations, leaving a meaningful impact on their families and the world.
