To finish National Skilled Nursing Care Week, Magnolia Creek Nursing Rehabilitation in Covington, TN hosted a Cowboy Cookout for the staff and residents.

A local hospital administrator and TN State Representative Debra Moody came to celebrate with the Magnolia community and spoke with the staff about the importance of care facilities and local government working together to deliver the highest quality care for every resident.

Thanks to the special guests who came to enjoy the day, and our nursing staff for always delivering their compassionate care approach for our residents!

For National Skilled Nursing Care Week, we asked the Activities Directors at every ClearView center to gather words of appreciation from the families they serve to surprise our nursing staff.

This week, every ClearView hallway is adorned with notes and testimonies for their dedicated nursing staff. We hope our nurses are feeling the love this week as we celebrate all their hard work!

We are proud to announce a brand new memory care unit, Affinity Living, at Grant Healthcare & Rehabilitation!

The new unit will house 29 beds, separate wings for men and women, 24-hour nursing care, medical and therapy services offered onsite, and individualized care plans for each resident.

The team at Grant is excited to provide expert memory care while providing privacy and peace of mind at Affinity Living.

Our CEO, Mick Vujanović, is being recognized for his leadership philosophy, after personally grilling 250 steaks for the staff at Midtown Center for Health and Rehabilitation to celebrate the center having an agency-free staff for over 6 months.

At one time, Midtown had over 1000 hours of agency staff weekly. After great teamwork and outstanding leadership, their agency hours hit zero.

At ClearView, we value transparency, developing talent from within, and having a bit of fun at all of our centers, and this is just one example. We are so proud of the culture that Mick has garnered at every ClearView center, and we're honored that McKnight's Long-Term Care News recognized this in their April/May 2024 issue.

ClearView takes on the 2024 Solar Eclipse! Luckily, some of our centers were in the path of totality, so staff and residents alike made sure to get outside and watch it happen! 🌙

Employees from Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center spent the afternoon at Max's Hope Pet Rescue in Hopkinsville, KY cleaning and socializing with the adoptable animals. It's all thanks to our company-wide program that incentivizes and rewards our staff to go out and volunteer in their communities.

We're so thankful for our compassionate frontline employees, who take their personalized care approach beyond their ClearView center and into their cities!

Months ago, ClearView CEO Mick Vujanovic made a promise to the staff at Midtown Center For Health and Rehabilitation that he would come barbeque steaks if the team went agency-free for six months. At one time, Midtown had over 1000 hours per week of agency staff but have since utilized in-house staff only for over six months.

Last week, Mick and Regional Director of Operations traveled to Memphis to fulfill their promise. They barbecued over 250 steaks for the Midtown team. Congrats Midtown on being agency-free!

Residents and staff at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab got a special visit from Rick Williams, a Field Representative for Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles. Rick spent time with the staff, played games with residents, and got a tour of the facility. Thanks to our government representatives who take the time to get to know the communities they serve!

🩺Healthcare Heroes: Recently, Lisa Hutsell, RN was on vacation from her position at Foothills Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Maryville, TN. While on an American Airlines flight headed to Puerto Rico with her husband, a fellow passenger had a medical emergency. Luckily, Lisa was the only one on board who answered the flight attendant's calls for medical professionals.

Using the onboard medical supplies, Lisa checked the passenger's vitals and assessed the situation, staying with the passenger and using her knowledge and expertise to keep them comfortable and safe until they landed on the ground where EMTs were waiting to take over. Everyone on board, passengers and crew, felt at ease knowing a compassionate and knowledgeable medical professional was there to help. After her flight, the medical director at American Airlines sent Lisa a personal thank you letter.

We're so thankful to have people like Lisa caring for residents at our ClearView centers. Lisa's compassionate nature and nursing skills helped everyone on board that day. Thank you for being so dedicated, Lisa!

Recently, a group of frontline employees from Chautauqua Health & Rehabilitation in Owensboro, KY partnered with Rivertree Church to feed and donate clothing to approximately 300 unhoused people in Owensboro.

Thanks to our company-wide program, these employees were incentivized and rewarded for getting involved in volunteering in their cities. We're so proud of our staff who take their compassionate care approach beyond our ClearView facilities and into their communities!

Last week, our CEO met with our legislators in Washington D.C. to discuss the impossible staffing mandate imposed on our industry. Many legislators expressed support and understanding for our frustrations with the mandate -- there simply isn't enough available staff to fulfill the mandate, and skilled nursing facilities are doing everything they can to enhance the workforce in their communities.

Thanks to Kentucky Representative Morgan McGarvey and Tennessee Representative John Rose for taking the time to discuss the mandate!

2 years ago, an F4 tornado tore through Kentucky, causing severe and catastrophic damage to towns throughout western Kentucky, including Mayfield.

Mayfield Health & Rehabilitation's building, with 74 residents inside, was flooded and destroyed that night.

Luckily, every resident made it out unharmed thanks to the preparedness and action taken from the staff. Today, we honor those who lost their lives during the storm and are eternally grateful for the miracle at Mayfield.
