Don’t be racing blindly into the future trying to change everything about yourself and your life. Enjoy who you are every step of the way. Focus on the good. So many spiritual practices have you focusing on trauma most of the time, burning papers w what no longer works, or healing ancestral trauma. Focus on ancestral wins, strength, and love. Focus on what’s going right in your life. All that stuff will melt the other stuff away! It will change your biology to attract more good stuff. It will help in every area of your life. Today I give thanks to my grandmother’s strength at being true to herself and just walking away from adversity, my mother’s love and connection to all, my father’s humor, my grandfather’s gentle nature, my sister’s artistic ability in art, theater, and music, my own kindness to others, and my sons’ laughter ( both of them)! My friend is a sculptor. She does animals and has recently been doing hearts. She often raffles them off. I won this beautiful soapstone heart! This little heart has brought my heart so much joy, and I haven’t even received it yet! A gift from such a special women of such talent and , yes, heart, is one I will cherish forever!!!!! I have been reminded this week of how great my past is! I have lamented lately about certain aspects of my past, even resenting some things and people. It was all brought full circle to me by visiting dragonflies, meeting children of old friends, seeing memories here on fb of loved ones, and recognizing I wouldn’t be the person I am today without any of that contrast. Thank you to all the souls along my path, even the ones I find uncomfortable sometimes.

Embracing who you are, is embracing source. Amidst the political climate, I still choose to connect to the divine, see the goodness in the world, and focus on things that make me feel good.
