I will be back at the market next Saturday - but in the meantime, Natural Factors and PureSource policies this year mean I will no longer be able to order without the storefront.

Not the end of the world - as I will still provide all the salient advice necessary, and apparently the Swan Lake store carries the products...

My own teas, tinctures, salves, balms, etc...will always be available :)

I struggle a little during the holidays...

On the one hand, I love that it seems, if only for a moment, the majority of people treat each other just a little better. I love the magic of giving, and the twinkling glow of lights in the darkness...

Most of us will never know the hardship and level of suffering that far too many people face as a daily norm; and right now, the women and children of Gaza are tearing holes in my heart.

It's not enough to "wish for peace," or say, "peace on earth, good will to all."

As far as I can tell...our collective wishes for peace have been happening for a few thousand years, at least.

It's time to consider what small meaningful actions we can take in the new year to promote peace actively...within ourselves, and around the world.

Then...we can all stop wasting our time wishing for peace, and live in it instead....

GiGo...

One of the first terms I learned in computing science in the early 70's...garbage in, garbage out.

I am by no means a "perfect eater," if there is such a thing, but I have spent the larger part of my life being AWARE of what I am shoveling into the large hole underneath my nose...

The reward has been a life relatively free of colds, flu, and other minor illnesses that interfere with daily life...my whole Covid experience was an afternoon where I didn't feel like supper, went to bed early, and woke up feeling fine. The other reward has been having no need to buy different clothing - I have the same 31" waist I've had since 1975, and I'm pretty sure at least one pair of my pants are pushing 40 years old now.

I'm not suggesting a regimented diet with no joy whatsoever...What I am saying is that the majority of issues that crop up with our day to day health are a function of the quality of the input.

Some ideas...

Make dessert a Friday and Saturday night deal only.

Eat more breakfast and lunch...and far less at supper.

If possible, consume no food after 6:00pm at latest. Allow your body to have 12 hours or more without something going down the gullet.

If eating out is a must - make better choices 8 out of 10 times.

It's a journey. No failure, no success...it just is. Choose. :) The Tiger

Now available this weekend at the farmer's market - a test run of my own formulated hard surface cleaner - limited quantities, so please make sure you come on down this Saturday 10 - 2 pm.

480ml of either the Thieves blend of Tea Tree for only $9.00 a bottle. If it goes well, I can hopefully lower pricing by buying the bottles in larger quantities.

I use it on everything in the bathroom, and it works amazing for streak free lab glass cleaning, countertops...you name it. No detergents or foaming agents, no chemicals, 100% natural!
