أعلن مركز أبوظبي للخلايا الجذعية عن تحقيق إنجاز علمي جديد في مجال الطب التجديدي يتمثل في تطوير تقنية متقدمة لإنتاج خلايا جذعية دماغية مشتقة من خلايا المريض نفسه، في خطوة تضع أبوظبي الأولى في الشرق الأوسط ضمن مجموعة محدودة من المراكز البحثية العالمية التي تعمل على تطوير هذا النهج المتقدم لعلاج الأمراض العصبية.

ويأتي هذا التطور في وقت تعمل فيه مؤسسات بحثية رائدة في الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا وآسيا على تقنيات مشابهة، إلا أن الدعم الحكومي والاستثمار الاستراتيجي في البحث العلمي في دولة الإمارات أسهما في تسريع تطوير هذه التقنيات ونقلها نحو التطبيقات الطبية المستقبلية.

Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center has announced a new scientific achievement in the field of regenerative medicine through the development of an advanced technique to produce brain stem cells derived from a patient’s own cells. This milestone places Abu Dhabi among a limited group of research centers globally, and the first in the Middle East, working on this advanced approach to treat neurological diseases.
This development comes at a time when leading research institutions in the United States, Europe, and Asia are working on similar technologies. However, strong government support and strategic investment in scientific research in the UAE have helped accelerate the development of these technologies and move them toward future medical application

شاركت دينا الموزين، مديرة التمريض، ورحمه المهيري، أخصائي اجتماعي إكلينيكي معتمد في مستشفى ياس كلينك مدينة خليفه، في المؤتمر السنوي الثاني والخمسون للجمعية الأوروبية لزراعة الدم ونخاع العظم (EBMT) في مدريد، حيث قدمتا ملخصاً بحثياً حول إنشاء مجموعة دعم مخصصة لمرضى زراعة نخاع العظم.

تُجسّد هذه المبادرة التزام فريقنا بتعزيز رعاية المرضى بما يتجاوز العلاج السريري. ومن خلال هذه المنصة الدولية الرائدة، نسعى إلى تبادل الخبرات ومشاركة المعرفة مع نخبة من الخبراء حول العالم، والمساهمة في تطوير الممارسات الطبية عالمياً.

Dina Al Mouzain, Director of Nursing, and Rahma Al Muhairi, Certified Clinical Social Worker at Yas Clinic Khalifa City, participated in the 52nd Annual Meeting of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) in Madrid. During the conference, they presented a research abstract on establishing a dedicated support group for bone marrow transplant patients.
