GETTING TO KNOW
ELEMI ESSENTIAL OIL

Part of the same family as Frankincense and Myrrh, Elemi has been used traditionally to support the appearance of the skin.

ORIGINS
Produced from pili trees, comes from the Happy Pili Tree Farm located in the Bicol region of the Philippines.

HOW TO USE
Topical: Apply 2-4 drops directly to desired area. Dilution not required, except for the most sensitive skin. Use as needed.
Aromatic: Diffuse up to 1 hour 3 times daily.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dark place.

More ways to get Elemi essential oil benefits:

🍃 Put a few drops of Elemi into a bowl of hot water. Cover your head and the bowl with a towel. Breathe deeply, and let the heat, steam, and nature-inspiring aroma fill your senses for five relaxing minutes.
🍃 Dampen a washcloth with water and add 2-3 drops of Elemi. Use as a warm compress on the back of your neck or chest.
🍃 Make a muscle rub by combining 1 ounce of jojoba oil, 4 drops of Elemi, 3 drops of Mister™, and 2 drops of Eucalyptus Radiata. For an added cooling sensation, add 1-2 drops of Peppermint.

DIFFUSER BLEND HACK

Do you have a favorite or go-to diffuser blend? You could add that blend to a glass dropper bottle and keep it next to your diffuser. This way you can fill your diffuser up with a few drops easily!

Here is one of my favorite diffuser blend which I added in a glass dropper bottle:
🌱 40 drops of Lime Essential Oil
🌱 40 drops of Bergamot Essential Oil
🌱 40 drops of Spearmint Essential Oil

Add about 6 drops of this mixture to your diffuser and VOILA!

To start up, we have 3 essential oil notes: Top, Middle, and Base. Citrus oils are usually top notes because they are lighter! Floral oils are usually middle notes because they have a softer aroma and will emerge after the top note. Base notes are usually woodsy, earthy oils and will slowly emerge and linger longer!
