Bone grafting is case-dependent — not automatic.
In this video, I explain:
• Different bone grafting techniques in implant dentistry
• When grafting is necessary, such as in immediate implant placement or when bone quantity is deficient
• When we can safely avoid grafting by using osseodensification (bone densification) techniques to enhance primary stability
With proper CBCT planning and an understanding of bone biology, densification allows us to optimize existing bone, reduce surgical morbidity, and in selected cases eliminate the need for grafting altogether — without compromising implant success.
This is precision-driven implant dentistry:
Do what’s needed. Avoid what isn’t.
