أجريت العملية المعقدة التي استغرقت خمس ساعات بقيادة المتخصصة في جراحة الأجنة الطبيبة الإماراتية الدكتورة غالية بن عاشور المري باستخدام تقنية تنظير الجنين الطفيفة التوفل.
يبرز هذا الإنجاز تقدم الإمارة في الرعاية المتخصصة لا سيما في طب الأم والجنين، مما يعزز مكانة أبوظبي باعتبارها وجهة رائدة للرعاية الصحية.

Danat Al Emarat Women & Children Hospital has marked a milestone in fetal medicine after a landmark fetoscopic spinal surgery was performed on an unborn baby in Abu Dhabi.

The complex five-hour procedure was led by Emirati fetal surgeon Dr Ghalia Binashoor Almahri using a minimally invasive fetoscopic technique.

The milestone highlights the Emirate's advancement in specialized care, particularly in maternal and fetal medicine, further strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as a leading healthcare destination.
