تخرج الدكتور وليد من جامعة الجزيرة بالسودان وحصل على ماجستير أمراض القلب من كلية ترينيتي ومستشفى سانت جيمس - دبلن بأيرلندا ؛ وحاصل على شهادة التدريب المهني العام (G.P.T.C) من الكلية الملكية للأطباء بأيرلندا، وشهادة أمراض القلب من الكلية الملكية بإنجلترا.
الدكتور لديه أكثر من 14 عاماً من الخبرة، كما أنه عضو في الكلية الملكية للأطباء بالمملكة المتحدة وحاصل على شهادة المجلس الطبي الأيرلندي والكلية الملكية الأيرلندية للأطباء.
يتخصص الدكتور وليد في إجراء قسطرة القلب التداخلية العلاجية، وعلاج آفات CTO، والموجات فوق الصوتية داخل الأوعية (IVUS)، والتصوير المقطعي البصري (OCT)، واحتياطي التدفق الجزئي (FFR)، واستخدام العلاج بالموجات التصادمية بالبالون لعلاج الآفات المتكلسة غير القابلة للتوسع.

Consultant Interventional Cardiologist,
Dr. Waleed graduated from Gezira University - Sudan and obtained his MSc cardiology from Trinity College & St James’s hospital, Dublin in Ireland; and holding General Professional Training Certificate(G.P.T.C) from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
He has more than 14 years experience and he is a Member of Royal college of Physicians, UK and holds Certificate of completion of cardiology training from the Irish medical council and the Irish Royal College of Physician.
Dr. Waleed expert in carrying out Diagnostic left and right cardiac catheterization, Simple and complex coronary interventional procedures, Antegrade treatment of CTO lesions, Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), Optical coherence tomography ( OCT), Fractional flow reserve (FFR), and the use of Shock wave balloon therapy to treat calcified, un-dilatable lesions.
