I have invented a simple and economic, ten minute procedure to manage platysma bands as an office procedure under local anesthesia using a cautery with an insulated Colorado needle for cutting the muscle without damaging the skin. Patients gave no negative comments regarding results of this surgery. Few percent of the patients required a touch-up after few months giving permanent results.
