Hello again from Zurich. 🇨🇭

Day 2 of the AI in Communications Boot Camp Europe started with Richard Tigges (formerly Audi AG), who explored the power of prompting and how the way we ask AI questions shapes the quality of the outcomes.

We then spent the rest of the day in a hands-on workshop with Peter Heneghan (former 10 Downing Street), diving deep into crisis communications in the age of AI and how communicators can build stronger operating models for high-pressure moments.

Fantastic energy in the room and great discussions throughout the day. A brilliant group of communicators learning, sharing, and challenging each other.

Hello from Zurich 🇨🇭

Day 1 of the AI in Communications Boot Camp Europe is done. A full day of practical insights on how AI is transforming communications.

We heard from Conor Sweeney (Amazon) on Amazon’s AI journey, Stuart Bruce on ethical guardrails, Jorunn Aamodt (IKEA) on building a new comms operating model, and Megan Ronaldson (ABB) on creating an AI community of practice.

In the afternoon, Simon Jenkins (Spotify) explored AI-driven creativity, Oliver Hayes (Edelman) unpacked deepfakes and disinformation, Nathaniel Davies (Roche) discussed AI and reputation management, and Peter Heneghan closed the day with lessons on crisis communications in the age of AI.

Ally MacLellan showed how to co-create with AI without losing brand voice or authenticity.

In the afternoon, Belle Baldoza shared smart ways to level up storytelling with generative AI, while Alex Sévigny grounded the room in governance, workflows, and reputation protection. Felipe Curcio, Kurt Heinrich, and Steve Lowry unpacked how better data foundations unlock better AI outcomes. Kelly A. Nantel from Amazon shared how AI is being embedded into communications workflows at scale, without losing governance or trust. Sarah Fornia from Providence brought clarity to the ethics conversation, outlining what responsible adoption really looks like inside a large organisation. Justin Fansler from Yale School of Medicine walked us through the shift from isolated AI experiments to a structured, scalable strategy.
