Are you giving space to your emotions?

I hope you can welcome and meet them with compassion, it is the time when I think most of us are seeing our most vulnerable parts for the first time.

And hey, I just recorded this short video yesterday evening to drop in and say, it’s okay if you’re feeling strong emotions even if we are reassured and well taken care of by the government of the UAE. Yes they are amazing! Yet we are allowed our emotions too - these are both true 😉

We all got a little taste of what a war can look or sound like, and so moving through emotions with compassion, with knowing that you’re not alone can be a great companion on this journey!

And yes, stay safe and positive when you can, but never think that something is wrong with you in the moments when you find it hard to navigate. We’re human, and the situation we found ourselves in overnight is not what we are used. So be patient and yourselves ❤️

If you need any help to ground and center feel free to reach out and keep an eye out on the stories so you can join the online events in this space!

Lots of love,

Sylvie

Ice baths always bring by a breakthrough! A moment of celebration, and that signature dopamine hit that lasts!

It’s been a while since we last gathered for an afternoon retreat, and I miss them.

Since January I have been out curating a new venue for us but haven’t met the right vibes.

Itching to offer these wholesome and social afternoons again, they truly a space to slow down, to give space to ourselves so transformation can unfold without being forced.

When we slow down and become present, we activate the most creative parts of our brain, and when we add that kick of ice… It’s something else, it’s something that will keep you going the whole next week. It feels like the freshest breath of air paired with the best blow out!

Hope to see you soon for a (re)treat again 🤍

If you have a good suggestion for a space that cab hold us and ground us, feel free to reach out or leave a comment and we may move this afternoon to your favorite space 😉

I randomly stumbled upon that today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and as we wait for the sighting of the crescent moon to mark the start of Ramadan. I’m feeling incredibly reflective. 🌙

I am flooded with memories of the kindness that has surrounded me on my journey while hosting our events and building our community. It’s a constant reminder of how well this world is holding me, and all of us, if we just stop to notice. 🤍

I also want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to this community. You are my heart and soul. To those who have supported this journey, engaged with my stories, and shared your own, I could not be more grateful for you. For all your not so random acts of kindness 🫶

My random act of kindness today? Between a day packed with back-to-back calls and sessions, I wanted to stop. To remind you (and myself!) that the smallest gestures matter. A thank you, a pause, a moment of recognition… it all adds up. 🕊️

Ramadan Mubarak in advance to everyone preparing for the month ahead. May your heart be as full as mine is today.

What’s your random act of kindness today?

This circle is conscious reset in nature a chance to feel connected.

After ceremony, you’re welcome to stay, connect, and share a simple potluck dinner by the fire.

Would you prefer a facilitator who accepts where they are at or one who claims a title they don’t yet have?

It triggers me… I mean when I see a claim that isn’t true. Here’s why: I don’t have it in me, because I love sticking with transparency. I do. Even when I wish I could already have the results and titles that are still unfolding and on the way.

Some darker days I ask myself, wouldn’t it be easier to attract clients if I just exaggerated a little?

These thoughts surfaced based on a delicate conversation that asked me to address my triggers. I found that while I wish I could also do that, really wish I had the guts sometimes to show up as… My point is ethics. Cognitive dissonance makes me feel confused and doubtful.

I have seen many using titles and achievements to impress and attract, just because people do it doesn’t mean it’s right or ethical. Transparency beings at putting out a true statement, not at the ability to explain or clarify it.

To make sure your values are being held with respect go and ask questions, do a background check.

Why? Well, you may want someone guiding you on how to shed all your masks and part from your ego after they’ve done it. Guiding you on how to embody you’re enough after they themselves felt enough.

And while reading this, know: we are all people too. Imperfect and always in the making.

Anyone who you look at from close enough will have issues, problems and flaws. And so if you’re a facilitator reading this take it as a chance to look at where you are at.

So here’s me asking you to challenge me, to ask me questions to put me on the test and see for yourself who I am!

Blessings,

Sylvie

PS - the same delicate conversation also revealed I actually had it in me! I hold a psychology degree and I love calling myself a psychologist 🙈 while that would be legit in places like the UK, in most parts of the world a psychologist holds at least a Masters or PhD or PshyD…

You are the number one reason! Yes, you read it correctly 🤍

I choose not to have a professional photographers at my events for many reasons, but most importantly because I choose to keep the events as intimate as possible!

I have had at times professionals come in. While beautiful memories are created when someone has a real skill in photography I noticed that it also costs something.

It has its unique costs when a camera is present in space. This why I choose to keep my space free of distractions. So you can relax and do you!

It’s for us, to keep it real. The circles are a space not to show off, but to experience, to be present without pressure to perform.

Why? Because the work we do, the way we slow down is something sacred and is better done in privacy!

So if you want to join a space that is not all about your instagram, you’ll love it here! And especially at our desert circles with cacao, where we drop into our heart-space and slow down to soften we rely on authentic organic content.

We don’t try to upsell, what you see is what you get. It’s what organically emerges simple snippets we take as tokens of memories…

So if that’s the space you see yourself in, join me under the full moon 🌕 on the 1st of March. We’ll gather to share our cacao, reiki, sounds and little pot luck dinner around the fire 🔥.

Blessings,

Sylvie

The Snow Moon Awakening: Closing the Circle
As the Snow Moon rises tonight, it carries a special weight, it is the final Full Moon of the astronomical year. This is the ultimate “bridge” moment: the peak of winter’s silver light meeting the first sparks of Imbolc.
While the world is still draped in white, the “Awakening” (Gromnitsa) has begun. We are standing at the finish line of one solar journey and the starting blocks of the next.
Tonight’s Rituals of Fire & Frost:
• The Great Sweep: As the Snow Moon illuminates every corner, we are washing the floors and sweeping away the dust of the past year. 🧹
• Sun on a Plate: We’re honoring the moon’s glow and the sun’s return with golden pancakes and fresh bread, fuel for the transition. 🥞
• Living Water: Collecting the “heavenly water” from the melting snow to cleanse our homes and our intentions. 💧
• Lighting the Path: Just as the moon reaches its fullness, we light lamps throughout the home to drive away the lingering shadows of winter.
The Goddess Brigid is stirring, and the seeds beneath the snow are ready. We honor the moon for guiding us through the dark, and we welcome the light of the new year to come. 🌱✨

The final shedding 😉

Are you ready to hold the space?

Fast forward from the shy girl to fully booked circles, to the one who shows up in unapologetically. Ready to share and hold space with integrity!

Where does this confidence come from? Embodied knowledge and so many mistakes down the line… I still make them.

But something shifted, I am opened up more and more to own them and treat them as opportunities to learn and expand - and I do my best to remain fair while I grow.

It didn’t always come easy, to own it. Not just glamorous and beautiful parts, but the ugly mistakes too.

Recently I made a mistake where my booking page hasn’t been updated on time, and sold spaces with a promise I didn’t keep.

It was hard, I didn’t like what happened. And I could have brushed it off, or just deflected, pretending it wasn’t on me.

I have owned up, I didn’t blame someone else, I compensated my clients and apologized.

To this day I also don’t know the answers to everything, and I don’t make one up on the spot to look knowledgeable, I acknowledge that too.

If that comes up, I’ll let you know I have to look into the matter myself so I can give you the response with the right depth.

Why? Because to me it matters that when act, you know you can trust the intention behind the action and when I speak you know you can trust what I say.

Holding space is not a performance, it is tho art. It’s the art of becoming fully yourself, accepting yourself and through that others… Deeper and deeper every time!

It’s part of my upcoming course to help you do the same, so if you’re ready to take your cacao journey and facilitation to the next level, join me next week!

It’s a deep-dive, it’s so much more than just serving a drink… It’s ethics, cultural background, trauma awareness, hands on practical knowledge and facilitation skills… and all that comes with it!

If you feel the pull, it’s your time and you already know!

People often believe when they have cacao something intense should happen them, something emotional and big.

What I experience much more often is that people leave more settled, more present and more in their body. There is less mental noise, a softer way of relating to what is coming up, and often a clearer sense of what actually matters and what can be let go of.

That doesn’t come from cacao on its own. It comes also from how the space is held. From pacing, from consent, from not pushing experiences forward, from understanding how the nervous system responds when it finally feels safe enough to slow down.

This is why I teach cacao the way I do. Trauma-aware, respectful of its cultural roots, grounded in both science and lived experience, and rooted in what is actually happening in the room.

Cacao doesn’t need to be made stronger, and people don’t need to be pushed open. What’s needed is enough safety, enough presence, and enough integrity for something real to unfold in its own time.

If you feel called to hold cacao spaces in this way, you are welcome to reach out. You can send me a DM and we can feel into whether this training is the right fit for you.

🤍

I’ve sat in ceremonies and held so many! I don’t know if I can still count them or not.

What I know for sure is that each and every one of them taught me something new… about life, about my triggers, and how to embrace and embody each situation for what it is!

There were times I wished I had someone to give me tools for this journey, and I have teachers whose wisdom and approach I treasure…

Yet, why I created this cacao course the way it is exactly is to give all that I wish I got given at the very beginning of my journey!

What are these? Unshakable embodied knowledge and confidence.

Being deeply rooted in my values, and knowing that I don’t know everything, but that’s more than enough.

Acceptance - towards the parts of me that I found hard to feel compassion for when triggered.

The courage, to acknowledge that I am allowed to be imperfect and so are others around me.

Holding space taught me big time how to hold myself!

And trauma awareness allowed me to slow down, to not try so hard to impress but lead by example - to hold a space that is truly safe, because I myself feel safe in it.

To know that in a circle as facilitator, we are not therapists, however what we create is therapeutic if we do it we strong ethics and care.

So if that’s something you may catch yourself struggling with, the course is for you. Because … it’s beyond the recipes and ways of making cups of cacao.

If you feel the pull, drop a DM and let’s figure out if the Trauma Informed Cacao Training is for you!

Blessings,

Sylvie

If you’ve been circling this training quietly, this is your invitation.

Not to rush, but to choose consciously.

Sometimes hesitation isn’t doubt.
It’s the nervous system checking:
Is this safe? Am I supported? Will I be held as I learn?

This training is designed with that in mind.

You might already be holding space in small ways.
Or feeling the responsibility and the pull of working with cacao before you even “officially” do.

This training is for that in-between moment,
where something in you knows you’re stepping closer.

I’m holding this training with a small group so there’s space for practice, reflection, and real mentorship.

If you’ve been circling quietly, this is me naming the moment.
