The year is 2016. Life is simple. We do things based purely on what is FUN. No responsibilities, and definitely no regrets🎉

👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻 Started officially dating my future husband
⚕️ Completed my 5th of medical school (and was dead sure I wanted to be a neurosurgeon)
🎂 He turned 21
🎁 I turned 23
🌍 We travelled internationally together for the first time to Thailand
🇦🇪 Visited Dubai for the first time (with no clue this would become our home a decade later)
🕊️ Heaven gained an angel as we said goodbye to our dear Ouma
💪🏼 Got very involved in the fitness life
👙 So much so that I decided to compete in and won a few bikini competitions
🩺 All while trying to remain true to my real calling: medicine
✈️ Maintained a long-distance relationship with with back and forth flights between Durban and Cape Town every month
🦈 We went cage shark diving + great white shark diving + microlighting + bungee swinging + canopy zip lining (basically every adrenaline activity we could find)
💄Tried a little “modelling”, realised it was not for me
🏡 started spending more and more time in Durban with me, we spoke about him moving
💎 Eventually he did move.. my Dad gave him a job in his jewellery store, only to spark a passion that today has him as one of the top gold & diamond dealers in Dubai.

And ofcourse, the rest is history🤍
