These diseases are sadly common in our state. But there is hope — Bone Marrow Transplant (HSCT) is the only curative treatment for many children suffering from them.

❌ Myth: "Transplant is very risky."
✅ Fact: When done in experienced hospitals, it is safe and life-saving.
❌ Myth: "We won’t find a matching donor."
✅ Fact: A donor can be a sibling, parent, or unrelated match.
❌ Myth: "This treatment is not available in India."
✅ Fact: Many top centers in India offer Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplants with good results.
❌ Myth: "My child will lose all immunity forever after transplant."
✅ Fact: Immunity-lowering medicines are given only temporarily to help the new bone marrow settle. Most children stop them within a few months to a year.
🛑 Don’t wait. Early transplant can be life-saving.
🌱 Give your child a chance at full recovery — not just temporary relief.
Talk to your pediatrician or hematologist about Bone Marrow Transplant (HSCT) if your child has Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, or Leukemia.

ये बीमारियाँ झारखंड में बहुत आम हैं। लेकिन एक सच्चाई यह है कि इनका एकमात्र इलाज Bone Marrow Transplant (HSCT) है, जो बच्चों को पूरी तरह ठीक कर सकता है।
💡 अफवाह बनाम सच्चाई 💡
❌ अफवाह: "Transplant बहुत खतरनाक होता है।"
✅ सच्चाई: अनुभवी अस्पतालों में यह सुरक्षित और ज़िंदगी बचाने वाला इलाज है।
❌ अफवाह: "Matching donor मिलना बहुत मुश्किल है।"
✅ सच्चाई: Donor भाई-बहन, माता-पिता या अनजान लोग भी हो सकते हैं। कभी-कभी cord blood भी काम आता है।
❌ अफवाह: "यह इलाज भारत में संभव नहीं है।"
✅ सच्चाई: भारत के कई hospital में बच्चों का सफल Bone Marrow Transplant किया जा रहा है।
❌ अफवाह: "Transplant के बाद बच्चे की immunity हमेशा के लिए खत्म हो जाएगी।"
✅ सच्चाई: Transplant के बाद immunity कम करने वाली दवाइयाँ कुछ ही महीनों के लिए दी जाती हैं। ज़्यादातर बच्चे एक साल के अंदर ये दवाइयाँ बंद कर देते हैं।
🛑 देर न करें। समय रहते transplant कराना ज़िंदगी बचा सकता है।
🌱 अपने बच्चे को थकाऊ इलाज नहीं, पूरा इलाज दिलाइए।
