On 6th March we celebrated the second Arts & Crafts Awards and Exhibition. The event was held over a three day period at the Rashid Centre for People of Determination here in Dubai.

During this time, nearly 40 pieces of art and performance videos that had been submitted were shown to the general public for all to see and enjoy.

This year’s theme was "My Art Is My Voice" plus, we had an additional category to help honour "Mother’s and Women Appreciation Week" that was being held during this time.

We also had the pleasure of having Oliver Wilson and Josh Turnes join us from the UK.

Both children entered into CareTech’s Arts & Crafts competition in the UK, where Oliver enjoyed success as the Educational Regional Winner and Josh was the Children’s National Winner.

We would like to thank everyone that took part in this year’s Arts & Crafts Competition. Without you and your time, effort and dedication, these competitions would not be the success they truly are.

CareTech's first Arts & Crafts competition in the MENA region, held in October in Dubai, was a great success.

The winner, a student from the Awladouna Centre for People with Disabilities in Sharjah submitted a beautifuly crafted piece entitled ‘Old Emirati House’. He impressed the judges with his attention to detail, design and patience.

To celebrate his artistic talent, he enjoyed the winning prize at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, alongside his Mother and Sister.

"The talent of the artists is truly outstanding."

On October 1st, Haroon Sheikh, our CEO and his team proudly hosted the first CareTech MENA Arts & Crafts Exhibition in Dubai to showcase the creative talents of people of determination from the region.

Judging the artwork was no easy task.

Congratulations to all the artists, runner-up winners and the overall winner who impressed the judges with a detailed and personal piece, "Old Emirati House", portraying the culture of the UAE and his fond childhood memories.

CareTech is committed to promoting the voice of people of determination and this event is the first of many to come in the UAE.

CareTech MENA is proud to present our artwork at the exclusive DIFC Art Nights on 24-25 March 2022. DIFC Art Nights provides a platform for both local and international artists to exhibit to a unique global audience. We are very excited to have our paintings selected to represent this year’s theme “Future is here.”

The event will be held 6pm-10pm at the Gate Village. Don’t forget to stop by and show your support.

CareTech MENA would like to mark the annual "Emirati Children’s Day," a UAE national occasion, that aims to raise the community’s awareness about children’s rights. CareTech supports the commitment to protecting children’s rights and nurturing the future generation.

The Emirati Children’s Day is an initiative launched by Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, as part of boosting the rights and development of children with disabilities. CareTech MENA through its services, supports the holistic care and efforts required for children’s rights whether it is psychological, social or educational needs.
