Dr Rahul Shivadey is an accomplished arthroscopy and sports medicine specialist having performed 1500+ knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures and 1500+ trauma and replacement surgeries. A university topper with gold medal and a fellowship from Budapest under Prof Hangody set him on the path of Cartilage regeneration. He is the founder member of INDIAN CARTILAGE SOCIETY and has served as the executive member of the ICRS and presently is the executive member of ICS. Dr Rahul is credited with performing the first single stage bilateral total knee replacement in Nasik. After moving to Dubai in 2010 he is with Zulekha hospitals as the head of department. He has been credited with organizing the first live surgical demonstration of knee surgeries in Dubai. Dr Rahul has various philanthropic interests like Lions Club and Vanvasi Kalyan ashram: an NGO . He has a loving wife Dr Keya a gynecologist and 2 loving kids Aaditya and Anushka.

The surgeries will be performed in Trivandrum and relayed real time here in Dubai . We have arranged for subject experts to perform and show unique cases like Doubel level osteotomy , Meniscal transplant , complex cartilage , patellar dysplasia cases to be performed . Being an active orthopedic specialist for 20 years he has not only excelled in routine orthopedic traumatology but during the past 15 years he has established himself in the arthroscopy and sports medicine field. A university topper with gold medal form APSU Rewa M.P he was always an avid learner. A fellowship from Budapest under Prof Hangody bolstered set him on the path of Cartilage regeneration. this super specialty field in sports medicine is the future of Joint preservation medicine. He was the founder member of INDIAN CARTILAGE SOCIETY and under Dr Deepak Goyal (founder president) has served the interests of the society. He served as the executive member of the ICRS and presently is the executive member of ICS. He is also on the editorial board of IJBST journal group.
Dr. Rahul started his practice in Nasik India and is the first surgeon to perform single stage bilateral total knee replacement in Nasik in 2003. after moving to Dubai in 2010 he is with zulekha hospitals Dubai as specialist and presently is the head of the department. he has been credited with organizing 2 live surgical demonstration of knee surgeries in 2016-17 which have been a first in this region.
Dr. Rahul is very active in academic pursuits and has presented at various national and international conferences including the ICJR Hawaii 2017/ IAS 2017 Pattaya and multiple regional conferences in UAE. in 2020f Feb he conducted a well-attended and appreciated Knee conclave in Dubai.
Dr. Rahul has successfully conducted more than 1500 complex arthroscopic procedures of knee and shoulder and over 1500 + major orthopedic surgeries including total joint replacements and trauma surgeries.
his present interest in cartilage regeneration has seen him acquire newer skills and surgical techniques to introduce the concept of KNEE PRESERVATION over knee replacement in the middle-aged adult population.
Dr. Rahul has various social and philanthropic interests. being actively involved in Lions Club international while in India he served not only as the president but also at the district level. he is an active and regular supporter of the Vanvasi Kalyan ashram nasik: an NGO working in the hinterland of north maharashtra for educating tribal children. Dr. Rahul has a loving wife Dr Keya a gynecologist and Obstetrician by profession and 2 lovely teenagers Anushka and Aaditya.
