I did a week long model training with .middleeast and absolutely loved it.

not that I ever thought to become a model but it was so much fun and got amazing input that is so valuable for life.

let alone leaving my comfort zone and feeling first super awkward in front of the camera.

life is too short to not do fun things 🫶

Not feeling your emotions especially the uncomfortable ones can lead to much more damage than you can imagine.

Having emotions are physical reactions and if we constantly suppressing this physical function no wonder we see so many people with autoimmune diseases, burnout or depression.

picture what would happen if you would suppress your digestion for year but still eat every day 🫠

I was a master in suppressing my emotions and as a consequence I lived from my mind and ego.

I pretended to be super confident but hid my insecurities inside.

Inner work and especially feeling what was hidden deep inside of me helped me to find my way back to my true self.

You can liberate yourself too from the pain you carry. It is available for all of us. The first step can be frightening but its so worth it ❤️

I used to suppress my emotions for so many years but all they want is to be felt.

Emotions are not the problem but not feeling them fully is.

If the process of feeling is not completed aka fully felt, energy gets stuck in the body that can create tension, numbness or restlessness.

You can feel, you just have forgotten this skill.

depression, anxiety or burn out are often the consequences of suppressing your emotions for a long time.

emotions are physical reactions that simply want to be felt.

they build up, have its peak and then the nervous system discharges again. the whole process takes only 90 seconds if we are fully present with the emotions.

Emotions are like waves.

They have a starting point, a high and an end where the nervous system discharges the energy naturally.

The problem is when we interrupt this process and do NOT feel the whole emotion.

Feeling is the skill to be happy and healthy as unfelt emotions can lead to tension, restlessness and physical symptoms.
